TRAINER
Ángela Albaladejo Gálvez began mentoring in Spanish ten years ago, after receiving a Diploma of Teaching in Barcelona. She moved on to teach Spanish in an adult education college in London, before qualifying as a secondary school modern languages teacher.
After a few years at secondary schools across the UK, she returned to Barcelona to open her very own Spanish language school, taking on keen students from all over the globe in her programs. She recently moved to Australia, where she is working on continuing her Spanish teaching career.
“I love travelling and discovering new places and cultures. Whenever I find myself in a new place, I like learning from local people and experiencing their way of living and traditions. Being a language teacher allows me to do this with my students.
In my classes, I don’t only teach grammar and vocabulary but try to give my students a real taste of Spanish and Latin American culture. I love watching them engage with the subject and increase their interest in languages and foreign cultures.”
