Course
Description
Create one-of-a-kind monotype prints using a Gelli plate, acrylic paint, foliage, stencils and other household objects. Gelli Printing is an easy to learn, non-toxic technique, using soft pliable Gel plates to create images on paper without the need for a printing press.
Learn how to ink up the Gelli plate in different ways along with various techniques to create impressions, layers and depth + more complex prints. Master basic colour theory and discover the combinations that create harmonious artworks. You’ll also learn how to properly clean and care for the equipment.
No previous art skill or experience is needed for this fun, spontaneous and expressive art form. A great printing technique for all abilities and ages. This course runs for four sessions, over four consecutive weeks at our Lismore campus.
