Description
The holiday season is fast approaching and decorating doesn’t have to break the bank! With a little bit of creativity you can turn ordinary supplies into something amazing. Gather your friends to make these festive pieces that are sure to delight. A great workshop for beginners.
Christmas stars and snowflake decorations:
Learn how to make lightweight, foldable stars and snowflakes using paper bags. This simple Christmas paper craft is super easy and environmentally friendly! Use recycled lunch bags or grocery bags to create fun decor with a vintage vibe. You can hang them around your home, porch or outdoors for a whimsical Christmas feel.
Christmas serving tray:
Serving trays are not only practical, but a perfect addition to a festive centrepiece. Use as a breakfast tray on Christmas morning, or serve snacks to your guests over the holiday season. So many possibilities! In class you will paint and decorate a timber tray with Christmas themed stencils such as Christmas trees, baubles and merry messages.
TRAINER
Toni Zuschke is a trained illustrator and graphic designer and can put her hand to most creative pursuits including painting, drawing, sculpture, sewing, lamp shade making, upcycled decor, lead lighting, furniture painting and restoration.
Nearly 5 years ago she decided to share her knowledge and skills and opened an antique and collectibles store locally.
“I developed this course to teach people basic creative skills and to demonstrate that you can have a budget-friendly Christmas decor option using ordinary objects. I get great satisfaction from reusing and recreating recycled items. I enjoy saving objects from landfill by giving them a new purpose, or transforming with paint and art.”
