About this course

A First Aid qualification is a requirement in many roles and industries. Use the skills and knowledge obtained in this course to confidently provide a first aid response in a range of situations. Your credentials will also need to be recertified every three years.

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is the most current nationally recognised unit of competency.

Students, please note by enrolling in this course you do not need to enrol in CPR separately.

Classroom & Online Delivery

The course is delivered in combination of classroom and online learning. Attendance and completion of both components is mandatory.

There are four hours of classroom delivery, and a further two hours (approximately) of online learning to be completed. The online component of the course must be completed prior to the classroom training date.

7 days prior to your selected course date you will receive an E-learning Assessment link and directions for completion (the assessment is multiple choice and is supported by a First Aid E-book).

This program is delivered and assessed by Australia Wide First Aid (RTO ID 31961) who will issue successful participants with a Statement of Attainment for all units taught. This is provided electronically, optional hard copy is available for a small fee on request to AWFA (07 3082 3939).
