When Beata Grytta approached The Migrant Centre in Southport, she was looking for something to really set her on the pathway to success. And now she’s living it.
Coming from a Polish background, she was nervous about study in Australia but determined to pursue a career in Individual Support as recommended by The Migrant Centre. By accessing our Student Support classes to assist with her studies, she successfully completed her Certificate III in Individual Support as well as her Medication Assistance competency with flying colours. Trainer Leeann Bell says, “She never gave up, that was the biggest thing I saw from her. She was amazing with the residents too, caring and kind”.
She is now employed part-time at the Terraces with McKenzie Aged Care Group as an Assistant in Nursing. What an amazing outcome! Perseverance and dedication – that’s what success is all about.
